I’m here to assure all victims and survivors that there is a man willing to listen as well as to hear them when others have wanted them to bury their stories and silence their voices. Too often, men are the ones telling women to be quiet, telling them that their experiences don’t matter, telling them to just move on. But I refuse to be that man. I am a man who will listen to your story, a man who will believe you, and a man who will fight for you.
I Will Listen To Your Story
Your story matters. It matters even if you don’t think anyone will believe you, even if you think no one will understand, and even if you feel like it’s not worth telling. I promise you that it is worth telling, and I am here to listen. I won’t judge you; I won’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t have done, and I won’t tell you to just move on. Your story is valid, and I want to hear it.
I Will Believe You
Too often, victims and survivors are met with skepticism and doubt when they come forward with their stories. But
I refuse to be skeptical. I refuse to doubt you. I believe you, and I will stand by you. No matter what anyone else says, no matter how many people try to gaslight you or tell you that you’re making things up, I will believe you. You can trust me.
I Will Fight For You
I will fight for your rights, your voice, and your justice. I will use my platform to amplify your story and make sure that people are listening. I will be your ally in the fight for change because we need more men like me who are willing to stand up and say enough is enough. We need more men who are willing to fight against rape culture and patriarchal systems that try to silence survivors. Join me in this fight—together we can make a difference.
If you are a victim or survivor of sexual assault or domestic violence, know that there is at least one man who believes you, who is willing to listen to your story, and who will fight for you.
You are not alone in this – together we can create change.
